VBS- The girls

Thanks again to C for taking the pics and
"capturing" my girls...

Unlike my other kiddos, Amelie did really
well away from me for the most part.
Which was good as I had 15 in my class...

VBS- The boys

We just survived a week of fun at our church VBS.
The kids LOVED it all: singing, crafts, learning...
My friend, C, kindly passed on all these pics of
the kiddos.

Sesame Place part 3

I couldn't believe all 3 big kids went on this...
The little boy's watching Mach
After screaming, I hoped for and expected this
I did NOT expect this:

Sesame Place part 2: The Water

While I did the twirly rides, John
braved the COOOOLD water.
It did NOT bother these kids...

Needless to say, this girl was lovin' the
water... and it wasn't just her
pink water shoes.
About here was when the cold hit...

Sesame Place part 1

The crew:
so excited half of them
can't open their eyes...
The first ride was the roller coaster.
Charlie was the first to brave it with Daddy.
Then Mach went with me and finally Dem
consented to go with Daddy. John bravely (I guess?)
sat with her in the front.

John assigned me all the twirling rides.
After the fifth ride I wasn't feeling so good...
Unfortunately some were just getting warmed up

Swimsuits...

We're heading to Sesame Place tomorrow-
Charlie's big birthday gift.
In preparation, we had to try on suits...

Amelie's "pose" anytime she sees my camera

After naps...

John caught this moment the other day...

Sunday

Charlie came down and thought he
could wear this to church...
Working on catechisms...
Dem and her bow

Guess who fell off the wagon?

Dress Up

Dem and I hit a garage sale on
Saturday and got a new stash of
dress up clothes...

She was thrilled and eager
to try some on her latest "customer."
Obviously, someone else could use
some/any dress up.

Birthday Breakfast

John took Charlie out for his
birthday breakfast on Saturday

Meanwhile, I was left home with this:
Miss Independent wants to feed herself...

The Cake Aftermath

Amelie went around to all the half-eaten pieces
of cake and finished them off.   What a Mom!
She's taking our baths to a new level!
Even this very neat little boy, couldn't
keep the icing off his face...
(please note the weapon).

The Party

A Cars Cake - does it get any better?

Not for this boy.

Some of the boys...
The girls....
Games...
The birthday boy.

The Big Four

Charlie is four today.

Explaining something intently to me:
Is that Superman?
His scary face.
("The bad guys will run.")
He wanted to be eight like his big brother,
but we convinced him to stay four first.
Pics from the party Saturday coming...
