Uncle Moon's Visit

Uncle Moon dropped in for a couple days
last week and we kept him busy!

Some serious battles ensued -
the generals discussing strategy.

Just for kicks - this cutie was running all over..

She walked down the aisle!

Dem was the flower girl in a dear friend's wedding
this past Saturday... Considering her last run didn't go so well
(didn't make it down the aisle!), I was nervous.
However, two years makes a big difference and she
rose to the occasion. She loved every minute of it!
She was princess for a day including dancing
at the "castle!" More pics to come
of dancing at the reception.

Machen's 9th Birthday

Machen's birthday began with
roller blades from Aunt Ellyn
and Uncle Moon

Involved fudge instead of a cake
(his choice!)

Firepit

We burned our Christmas tree, cardboard from the swingset
and whatever else was burnable... then John grilled pizza!

Despite the below freezing temps, this kid
couldn't have been happier.
