Princeton!

Mom and Dad came into town (along with the Pope!) and we headed 

AWAY from Philly to Princeton for the day.

And then they came back and gave our yard a complete makeover!  

How thankful we are for them!

Soccer!

Soccer season finds us watching Demaree playing for the middle school 

and Machen for the varsity (gulp) team.  Both are loving it! (and very tired at night!)

Amelie loves playing babysitter to Evie at these games...

Just 'cause

I'm keenly aware in these crazy busy days, my children are growing 

up much too fast and there's nothing to do but enjoy this fleeting season

and be thankful.

Demaree's Birthday!

Demaree turned 13!

We had a lovely Sunday afternoon celebration...

                                      Life skills for teenager #1 in the house...

                                    Lots of clothes and soccer gear for this birthday girl!

                                                     Her big gift = a Union (soccer team) game with her dad!

So thankful for 13 years with our dog loving daughter!

I took the littles to my favorite place one afternoon this week...

Clearly, one of my students wasn't very excited about this choice of destination.

The amazing train continues to be a favorite...

First Day of School

A new school year began last week.  Big kids were off for 

another year at PMCA: Mach in 9th and Dem in 7th.

The non-uniform children, Charlie (5th) and

 Amelie (2nd) are still home.

 How many times can Mom say "You're in HIGH SCHOOL?"
