DDP #11

John has been practicing for a Christmas choir Sunday
afternoons. He usually takes the big kids and Amelie usually
sleeps, which leaves me some time with this guy.

This darling boy showed up to church with
his shirt completely buttoned inside out.
And when we went down to fix it, I (again!)
found out he was missing certain under garments.

Saturday morning we surprised the kids with
tickets to a live performance of Handel's
performance. John has been working through it
in sections every night, so this seemed a fitting
reward. Plus we've been listening to it
so much, Amelie has "favorites".

Amelie told everyone we went to the "Handel Messiah Party."

Advent Calendars are one of the highlights of this season for my kids.
What could be waiting in chocolate form each day?

Nothing says Christmas quite like "Hottie."

(Last Christmas the kids got to choose a Christmas hat
and I didn't notice Amelie's pink one had words on it
until we were home. And for the laughter it's provided us,
it's been worth it.)

He came downstairs and said he was Santa.
(Please note the bulging belly)
"I really have to eat spinach, Dad?"

Love this boy.

No room in the Inn because Barbie and crew have taken over.
This WAS part of a nativity scene...

The culprit: rocking "baby Jesus"
(wrapped in peace signs, no less.)

December Photo Project

Can I post a picture a day until Christmas? It'll take a miracle but these

precious days are flying fast and I've got to start taking more pictures!
