Today we finished up a week of VBS at our church... a friend was kind enough to take these pictures and pass them on.

New York City
Our next big day trip was to hit New York City for the day...
The adult to kid ratio was exceptional. :)
First stop, the New York Public Library, aka, free museum. Amazing!
No trip to New York is complete without a stop at F.A.O. Schwartz.
Last time my kids thought it was a museum, but this time they saw the light. :)
Beach
Our first big day trip with Mom and Dad was to hit the Jersey Shore for the day...
Island Beach State Park was amazing and it was a beautiful day.

The Big 5
I've got pictures of the actual birthday still to sift through, but these are from last week.
I'm sad about this birthday. 5 is the end of little, little boys. I love this phase and I'm sad to see it end. Charlie is a mystery to me - more than the other kids. I can't wait to see what the Lord will do with him and how He'll use Charlie to further His kingdom.
For now, we sow seeds and swing with our eyes closed.
