Twin Sisters

Every year we like to torture push the kids with one hike.
This year it was Twin Sisters (NOT Twisted Sisters, John).
It's right down the road from the cabin so we see it often.
Over 7 miles round trip and 2000 miles up.

We enjoyed "Mars" again but instead of turning around, we pressed on.
No small thing, since the trail was washed out (as you can imagine from the picture)
and the path was straight UP.  Ugh for old knees.

Back on the path and pretty much UP.
Shout out to Amelie who had only two short rides, both above
treeline (where the air is thin) and after two hours of hiking.

At the top!
(anyone who knows John realizes he was behind me freaking out
about our kids being close the edge!)

Looking down at Estes Park

 Hiking down.
Crazy  views and blessed to be able to enjoy it
